This is the season of giving...or so the saying goes. It's the Christmas season, the season where we celebrate the gift of God to humans--his only son, Jesus.Does it have to be expensive to be of worth? Absolutely not. I believe the thing is: give from the heart. If the gift has meaning to you, if the gift is one you know will be appreciated or is needed, if the gift is given with love, then that is true giving.
- Meaning: God's gift of Jesus had meaning--it was his ONLY son. A sacrifice.
- Needed: Humans NEED God's salvation through Jesus
- Love: For God so loved us, he gave his only son to save us.
Let us give from the heart, not especially the most expensive item, but with love...that, I'm sure, will be the best gift ever.
Remember: The Gift of God!
