Rambling Friday: Happy News!
Axel is home!
I can't thank God enough for helping the big boy
to come through his sickness!
He lost a lot of his weight,
is on a light diet,
but gaining strength every day
and seems so happy to be home.
Our hearts are thrilled.
Welcome home, you big baby.
We love you!

Sunday Morning Sunshine: A Huge Blessing
This Dog...
Spoiled rotten
rambunctious
obedient
loving
companion
smart
loved more than he'll ever know
loves to pretend I want his bones
loves to play ball with me
and so much more...
Became VERY ill before Thanksgiving
I cried constantly
sooooo afraid he'd die
but after a week
we have a glimmer of hope...
He looks like he's on the mend.
That's said with cautiousness
but a faint bit of hope glimmers through
that awful tunnel of sadness and despair.
I cried out to God
and if it be His will,
God will heal Axel completely
and allow us to have this precious,
sweet dog a little while longer.
That's my thanksgiving blessing today!

Rambling Friday: Axel, the Dog
We lost three pets this year, which was hard on me.
I cried, I remember, and I miss them.
Very much.
One thing that helps is this rascal, all grown up:
He's a Lap Dog :)
He's active, smart, affectionate (too much so), and spoiled rotten.
(I think, he thinks he's human)
He's also a thief (he tore up a picture of myself and brother with our grandfather: Poppy
and he stole my delicious french toast when I turned my back),
He's a destroyer. Evidence:
But we love him so much.
And he loves us!
