Rambling Friday: A Cup of Wisdom

How much happier and contented would we be
if we all followed these words of wisdom
on this mug?
Think about it!

Have a beautiful day!

Sunday Morning Sunshine: Spring is...

Apple and Cherry Blossoms that eventually produce fruit

Sunshine-y Daffodils give us hope

Baby chicks and ducks that remind us how precious life is

Dandelions that tell us whether we like butter or not
if we hold a blossom under our chin
and...
the leaves and stems make a nice spring "greens" dish

Easter with the Easter Egg hunts,
the dinners filled with lots of food
and family together
church services
and remembering why we celebrate Easter

Lots of rain
but always a rainbow somewhere

There is a Season:  Spring!

Happy Days!

Sunday Morning Peace: Rain and the Rainbows...

The Bible says:
It rains on the just and the unjust...

But those who trust in the Lord
have God's rainbows
in their lives.

Forgiveness
Mercy
Faithfulness
Goodness
Love

and much more.
Don't be afraid of the rain and storms of life.
Remember:
God has this.
God has YOU!

Celebrating the Irish

Irish Wishes

May there always be work for yours hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two,
May the sun always shine warm on your windowpane
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.

May the hand of a friend always be near you
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Blessings

A Fun but Serious Monday Post . . .

Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark .

  • Don't miss the boat.
  • Remember that we are all in the same boat!
  • Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
  • Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
  • Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
  • Build your future on high ground.
  • For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
  • Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
  • When you're stressed, float awhile.
  • Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
  • No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
